About the Event

This is the 4th annual Ken Jennings Putt for PSP event. We created this event to help bring awareness to Progressive Supranuclear Palsy which affects our father, Ken Jennings.

This event also allows us to raise funds that go to Cure PSP, a non-profit organization, to help them find a cure for the many people afflicted by this disease. This event is also a great way for Ken to visit with friends that he doesn't get to see as often because of PSP.

Don’t miss this opportunity to have fun on the greens and earn prizes too! Along with bragging rights, the winning team will get their names engraved on the Putt for PSP plaque, displayed at South Shore Golf Course (Syracuse, IN). There will be prizes for first and second place teams as well as individual event winners.Event will take place July 25th from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm at the South Shore Golf Course in Syracuse, IN.

About Ken Jennings

Ken Jennings was born in Huntington, Indiana. He attended Clear Creek High School and graduated from Indiana University. In November of 1967, Ken Jennings married Karen Kramer. Ken and Karen were happily married for over 30 years when she passed away of breast cancer in 1999. In 2002, Ken married Carla Jo Brewer.
Ken has two children, Jack Jennings of Warsaw, Indiana and Janelle Romano of Ashburn, Virginia. Mr. Jennings worked in various positions throughout his career with International Harvester and AM General in South Bend, Indiana. He retired from AM General as Manager of Customer Satisfaction in January 2005. Mr. Jennings is a former owner of the Frog Tavern in Syracuse, Indiana and a co-developer of Pier 343 Condos on Lake Wawasee.
Ken Jennings is the type of man who does not ask for help, but never hesitates to help others. Mr. Jennings is a genuine man of great virtue and integrity. Ken is a generous and loyal friend. He never has a harsh word to say about anyone. Ken is a man of few words, but has a wonderful sense of humor. He is easy going and fun to be around. He is an accomplished businessman, and an excellent role-model. He is extremely courageous and has handled his diagnosis of PSP with dignity and grace.
We started the Ken Jennings Putt for PSP to help raise awareness of this disease as we had never heard of it prior to our dad developing the symptoms. It is also a way for people to donate to the cause of finding a cure for the thousands of people with this disease.
